The winter storm, Benji, came in like a bear and dropped 6 to 8 inches of snow on December 8th and 9th. Even though the predictions of precipitation was not exactly correct, the Roads Department had been forewarned and they were prepared with all snow equipment and staff available to roll within a few hours. One of the main issues was that the snow was so heavy it brought many trees down over the last few days. The crews are still out cleaning up the remnants of the storm and will be for several days.
